Vanilla for giving

I can rarely find something to give at holiday times to my friends that will have meaning or be special so I’ve learned to give things that I either make or are of things that we share together. I brew vanilla at home and over the years this has been a great holiday or even a house gift. I buy the small bottles at the container store and write the year of the vanilla on the bottle and gift them out. So far it has proven to be a crowd pleaser. I love seeing the expressions on my friends’ faces when they get this.
