Time for a pictorial catch up....
I haven’t been blogging recently. My dad passed away on Thanksgiving after a tough fall of not feeling well, a failed meidcal procedure and a hospital stay. We (my siblings and I) all thought he’d make it out for one last voyage around the sun but I guess it was just time :(. It kind of silenced my words for a while, at least on this medium…I contineued to cook, however, and feel like I missed posting for some major events, like the pickling season and Thanksgiving.
Now that I’ve returned to a more normal schedule I’ve been cooking a lot of comfort foods - soups, roasted chicken, some great vegetable combinations and one of my favorites, meatball sliders I thought instead of trying to document them all I would just post a few photos and maybe add the recipes later. If a particular image strikes your fancy, drop me a line and I’ll send you the recipe!
